Are you interested in getting involved? There is no greater reward than knowing that you have had a positive impact on another person, especially a child.

The Miracle Providers Holiday Cabaret Shows take more than just singers, dancers and female impersonators to make a grand production. Generous, dedicated and compassionate volunteers are the foundation that make the cabaret shows bigger than life and make every dollar raised for the children impacted by HIV/AIDS worthwhile.

Electricians, carpenters, painters, sound technicians and graphic artists are just a few of the important volunteers that are needed to make the shows a success. Seamstresses, make-up artists, hair and wig stylists are in demand. Dressers and shoppers are imperative. Greeters, ushers, properties managers and associates, along with set-up and take-down crews, are always needed.

If you ever wanted to know what goes on in a theatrical production from the house to the backstage, or you thrive on fast-paced, chaotic and often hysterical behind-the-scenes action, then join us as a volunteer.

Volunteer opportunities

• Onyx Room events

  Set up and clean up, door attendants, greeters and ushers, security.

• On stage

  Entertainers, vocalists and dancers. A lot of rehearsal and setup goes into every show.

• Backstage

  Stage crew, dressers, seamstresses, make-up and hair stylists, sound and light technicians.

• Build & design

  Electricians, carpenters, painters and graphic artists.

• Shoppers

  Do you have a passion for shopping? We need volunteers to help shop for the kids.

• Behind the scenes

  Volunteer coordinator, event planner, grant writers, PR and advertising, fundraiser organizer.
